Hi everyone! I purchased the Basic Atom Pro 28 pin IC and the Lynxmotion Bot Board II and I've made a quadruped spider robot which I have named NEXUS! Check out the full project at Lynxmotion: http://lynxmotion.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7632

or visit my site (it's only got photos and a video of the finished robot):
https://sites.google.com/site/kaizokurobots/

Also, could anyone direct me to a post which has a general circuit board for the Basic Atom Pro 40 pin so that it can be used to control servos (I'm new to the forum so I have no idea where to look ).

Thank you!

Don't know any good boards for pro 40, but you might consider Arc32

I've finished designing a basic board for the Atom Pro 40 pin and I was wondering if Basic Micro offered a board or something similar that one could use to make a robot remote controlled or Bluetooth controlled?

Thank you!

We dont currently have sell our own blutooth board. We've thought about it but its still up in the air. I'd recommend the blusmurf board. You can get it at sparkfun. We have a Wifi module in the works as well but it isn't available yet. We are using the RN-51 module, IIRC. They are pretty simple to use(async serial) and have a reasonable range. If you want something long range you may want to look at the XBee 417mhz or 900mhz. Not sure which is legal in the US. They have a very good range. Outside of that there are some very long range systems but they are pretty specialized.

Hi everyone! I've finished making NEXUS completely now (I finally managed to buy a battery pack, design a new body and a container for the battery and put it all together whilst also adding another D.O.F to the head so it can now pan LEFT/RIGHT and UP/DOWN)!

Here's a photo of the completed robot - ENJOY!

P.S. I should be posting a video of it soon so stay tuned in for that!

Fixed your video link. Don't include the &feature= part at the end and it works fine.
