It has been found some reinstalls of Studio, usually for upgrades to newest versions, will not "take" properly. I.e., certain problems advertised as fixed still don't work. It is found that the "Remove" feature in the Install Shield that opens when you start the installer doesn't entirely remove all files from the earlier Studio installation. You must use the Add/Remove Software program in your Control Panel to COMPLETELY remove the old Studio files.
In short, do not run the installer with the newest download of Studio until AFTER you remove the old installation with Add/Remove Software in the Control Panel. And, if a fresh installation fails to work properly, and you suspect it is corrupted somehow, remove the present Studio with Add/Remove Software as instructed above before reinstalling.
