What would be the best way to connect and program for quadrature wheel encoders to the Atom PRO? Are the interrupts fast enough on this processor to deal with them? If so, what is the max resolution (PPS) that they can deal with?

Well I don't know the best way, but the solution that I used came in a quadrature decoder from US Digital. I use a PC6 Encoder to Counter Interface Board which decodes the quadrature components and creates a pulse train that is easily handled with the PULSEIN on the AtomPro.

You can find US Digital on the web at www.usdigital.com
