 Post subject: HPWM Usage
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2003 10:00 am
To clarify HPWM usage the following applies :

HPWM pin,period,duty

1 - FTIOB-D are the available outputs
2 - These programmed values must maintain the following relationship to get a pulse output, duty < period. If duty = period you get a high logic level on pin, no AC waveform.
3 - If you have FTIOB, FTIOC, FTIOD (P10,P11,P12) all active they all share the same period register but have individual duty registers, so if you tried to do following

HPWM P10,1000,100
HPWM P11,2000,200
HPWM P12,3000,300

All pins would have the same period (3000), e.g. the last instructions period, but have duty's of 100/3000, 200/3000, 300/3000.

Regards, Dana.
