Connect just tries to connect to an already loaded debug program on the chip/module. If you have't programmed the chip first using the Debug programming button(instead of the regular Program button) there will be no PDB file and the chip will not have the debuggable version of your code load. After you have programmed the chip using the Debug programming button you can reconnect to the chip using the Connect menu option if you stop debugging and want to retest something without making any changes to your code.
I have a similar problem but I am pressing the Debug button to get the compile/download/debug session going. I did press that button however, but I still get the PDB FIle not found error. What do I do next?
