I provide this Nano BreadBoard wiring layout diagram for your effiorts in the future. I repaired a labeling glitch at the peripherals connectors, LED1 and LED2 were backwards.
Notice the numbers 7 to 22 on the breadboard's edge. Use these as guides for peripheral wiring.
Also note that P0 thru P7 are dedicated to the LCD when an LCD is installed. Don't use these for anything else when an LCD is installed. Also of note, P3 is used to drive the transistor for the LCD's backlight. This has a small voltage on it when the power is on. This plays Hobbe with ADC measurements and PWM. Even if you don't install an LCD and want to use these first eight positions (P0 to P7), you must watch for this. Use P3 for digital signals only.
OK! Get out the colored pencils or crayons and have at it!
