I did now install 1.0.0.29 and all is well. The DIG function still doesn't work, and I can't program a nano18. I may have a bad chip but haven't looked into it yet. The backspace problem was resolved by Nathan, suggesting going to Views,toolbars,customize,keyboard and reset all. The incompatibility I ran into was caused by the change of timing, I believe in version 1.0.0.16. All is well!!
