I am using a Basic Atom40-M and I can't get pins 8 through 31 to function as an output or input. How do I get these to function? Here is my test code that works for P0-7, but not for 8 through 31:

DIR31= %0
Main
high p31
pause 1000
low p31
pause 1000
goto main

Hi. :)
Try doing it without the "P". That is, "31" instead of "P31". Or 0 thru 31, no "P",for that matter.
Take care,

Hello Kenjj,
I tried changing to 31, but still no luck.
Here is the program:
DIR31= %0
Main:
high 31
pause 1000
low 31
pause 1000
goto main

I am using IDE 5.3.1 and tried earlier version 2.2.1.1
Also, I tried another ATOM40 and without the super development board rev. A.
Thanks, AJ

Found my problem! There was a small solder flake on my external circuit. Got rid of it and now all pins work!
Thanks, AJ
